Message from Pastor Forbes (3.27.2020)
I am writing to sons, daughters and friends of the ministry. I am writing to encourage, inspire and reassure each of you as we emerge from this attack on our homes, families, church, nation and world! You WILL make it thru this. You WILL emerge better off than before. And God WILL show Himself faithful in making it happen. (Gen 26:1-12)
What we are witnessing is two-fold. First, Satan as the hater-agitator of humans, is the author of sickness and disease, virus and flu. He hates everything and everyone and was able to originate disease on the heels of Adam and Eve’s original sin. Secondly, the world is always primed to be judged. What with its’ hatred of Israel, its’ ridicule of the Church and its’ disdain for life, it is not strange that judgment can come upon the world. This is judgment; not punishment but judgment; there is a difference. It is up to us as disciples of Christ to enter into:
- humility
- prayer
- repentance and
- devotions (II Chronicles 7:14)
THEN God will hear our voices and heal the land.
You as a Disciple must then focus on:
- building your faith capacity with God through prayer and the Word
- blessing your family in time spent and intimacy and
- birthing new momentum in your finances through tithing and giving.
This is the blueprint you can use to chart a course of progress and success in the midst of trouble. Remember Isaac in Genesis 26:1,12. Think of how he made it thru the famine, ended up better than when it started and how God made it happen for him.
Be sure to meet me Sundays (10am) and Tuesdays (7pm), as well as Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (10am), called Faith Stadium Fridays, on our EILM Church Stream, FaceBook and YouTube. The Word of God will see us through. I also will offer shorter video encouragements entitled “Blessed Practices” throughout the week for your spiritual and emotional edification.
You CAN do this! We WILL do this! I am proud of you. Moreover, I am pleased in you, your faith and your fighting spirit! We are CCC! We are Faith Stadium! We are Cassady & Agler! WE ARE FATHER’S CHILDREN!
