God called our Pastor, Dr. David C. Forbes, Jr., to begin Columbus Christian Center (CCC) in Columbus, Ohio on November 11, 1990. Those that connect to our church talk about God’s love and the vivacious energy of our Pastor and people. At CCC, God’s Word is taught and the truth is powerfully shared in love and boldness. Over the years, people from all walks of life have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord, received physical healing, been set free in their soul, had their family restored, and experienced financial harvest as a result of the seed principle. There are so many more life changing stories to come; yours can be one of them!
As a result of our ministry’s exponential growth, Ever Increasing Life Ministries (EILM) was established. Its primary purpose was and still is to house a family of ministries that brings glory to God through their faith, family, finances and good works within the community. Today, EILM is home to both CCC and Spirit of Life Church International (SOLCI) in Roanoke, Virginia, where our Pastor serves as overseer.
Pastor Forbes’ apostolic covering and father in the gospel is Apostle Leroy Thompson, Sr., Pastor of Word of Life Christian Center in Darrow, Louisiana.
Our Pastor
Dr. David Forbes, Jr. is Founder and Pastor of Columbus Christian Center Church and Ever-Increasing Life Ministries, both in Columbus, Ohio. Out of his birth in Brooklyn, NY and upbringing in Richmond, VA has emerged a life and ministry committed to the Word of God and Apostolic government.
Dr. Forbes’ love for the Word of God, his love for people and his passion to see their lives of faith strengthened, undergirds his fire for ministry. Ministry for Dr. Forbes is unashamedly Christian, unreservedly pro-life,
and undeniably inspirational.
His lovely wife, Dr. Tracy Forbes, along with their five beautiful children and five precious grandchildren join him in the joyous work of building the Body of Christ and enhancing the Kingdom of God. The ministry of CCC is known for its city impact and pro-community initiatives,
as well as the superstructure known as Faith Stadium.
Known as the “soul doctor”, he blends roots in social work and Christian upbringing to project a unique but effective anointing that has endeared him to many. Directness, practicality, authenticity and wisdom are trademarks of his God-given approach to the Scriptures.
Our First Lady & Assistant Pastor
Dr. Tracy Forbes serves dynamically as Assistant Pastor at Columbus Christian Center Church. She, as a faithful and anointed minister, supports the efforts and vision of her husband, Pastor David C. Forbes, Jr.
Her passion for transformation in the lives of women is fully demonstrated in Skinny Women of God. This ministry is designed to help ladies learn how to lay aside every weight (Hebrews 12:1), and recognize the things that have weighed women down, keeping them from being used by God. Most recently, her leadership influence has been seen in the development of small groups within the congregation.
Dr. Tracy is a product of the public schools of Prince Georges’ County, Maryland. She is a graduate of James Madison University (BS) and Tabernacle Bible College (DDiv). After leaving James Madison, she completed Medical Technology training. She was ordained to the ministry in 1997 and is also a graduate of Ever Increasing Word Training Center in Darrow, Louisiana.
Dr. Tracy is a dedicated wife and a committed mother to five wonderful children and five beautiful grandchildren.
